Bio.S.S. is a student-run organization with the mission to foster and encourage student and community participation in Biotechnology issues regarding the Biotechnology programs and gather information on bursaries, scholarships, and volunteer opportunities. This will provide current students a head-start towards their careers. Bio.S.S. will create a place where students can discuss their issues, share/increase their knowledge about the Biotechnology field, and discuss their experiences in placements and so forth. This will be accomplished through the work of Centennial College volunteers including current and former students, faculty, staff, management, and other community individuals and organizations. Bio.S.S. also serves as a means for the students at Centennial College to implement innovative ideas and solutions to increase awareness both within the college and the surrounding community, about all the issues related to the growth of the biotechnology industry.
