Services
Eco Depot
Eco Depot is a service that provides students with access to professional clothes for job interviews. Not only does it make fashion accessible to all students, but it's also a very Earth-friendly was to "shop"!
What?
The EcoDepot is a student clothing depot offering gently-used suits, separates and accessories for men and women suitable for job interviews and the workplace - at no cost to our students! Free minor alterations, styling and resume checks are also available at the EcoDepot!
When?
The next EcoDepot takes place every semester.
Where?
Room 2, Upper Level
Progress Student Centre, 9:00am - 6:00pm.
How can students take advantage of the EcoDepot?
Students can access the EcoDepot and choose items needed to make a good first impression at interviews or on the job-free of charge. Entry to the EcoDepot requires a valid student card (or timetable for CE students).
How to donate?
We accept donations for professional, age-appropriate, gently used clothing (i.e. clean and in good-repair) all year round. We welcome donations of the following items - suits, dress pants, skirts, dress shirts/blouses, ties, belts, shoes, handbags and other accessories.
Donations can be dropped off at CCSAI offices located at the Progress and Ashtonbee Student Centres or HP and CCC - rooms 113.
How to volunteer?
We're also looking for volunteers to assist in the following areas:
collecting/sorting donations
store setup and merchandising
customer service/styling
clean up and tear down
other duties as needed
If you're interested in participating in this unique approach to making Centennial green while providing our students with the clothing they need to feel confident in a work environment, please email Donna Neil at dneil@centennialcollege.ca
Thank you for your support.
