Event description:

The EcoDepot is a student clothing depot offering gently used suits, separates and accessories for men and women. We have clothing suitable for job interviews and the workplace - at no cost to you, our students!

The next EcoDepot takes place on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at the Progress Student Centre, Rm 2A, 9:00am - 6:00pm.

Students can access the EcoDepot and choose items needed to make a good first impression at interviews or on the job. This service is free of charge, and the items are theirs to keep. Entry to the EcoDepot requires a valid student card (or timetable for CE students).

We are always collecting donations for professional, age-appropriate, gently used clothing (i.e. clean and in good-repair). We welcome donations of the following items - suits, dress pants, skirts, dress shirts/blouses, ties, belts, shoes, handbags and other accessories.

Donations can be dropped off at CCSAI offices located at the Progress/Ashtonbee Student Centres and Morningside/CCC - room 113.

We're also looking for volunteers to assist in the following areas:

- collecting/sorting donations

- store setup and merchandising

- clean up and tear down

- other duties as needed

If you're interested in participating in this unique approach to making Centennial green while providing our students with the clothing they need to feel confident in a work environment, please email Donna Neil (dneil@centennialcollege.ca).

Thank you.
