Our membership includes current students and alumni; we support and encourage all medical laboratory technician students by broadening their knowledge of the medical laboratory field as well as bring together students with common goals. We believe that this club will create opportunities for integrated activities to foster educational, social, and career advancement by liaising with students, alumni, faculty, and health care professionals and promoting community awareness of Centennial College’s Med Lab Technician Program and the Medical Laboratory profession.

This club will provide students an opportunity to get to know each other on a social level. Activities will be fun as well as informative. Members will have the opportunity to interact with clinical laboratory professionals and expand their knowledge of the professional aspects and career options of the Medical Laboratory profession and be updated about the changes to legislation, institutional policies and practice guidelines and new technologies.

Medical Lab Student Society will provide students an opportunity to acquire leadership, teamwork, planning, and social skills that are important for success, while creating a well-developed resume for job applications.
