Ontario Tuition Rebate 30% off
The Ontario Government has announced a new grant: 30% off for full-time undergraduate university and college students.
Who is eligible?
In order to receive this grant:
- you must have graduated from high school in 2007 or later
- you must be in a program that you applied for and entered directly from high school
- you're a full-time student at a public university or college (like Centennial College)
- your parents' gross annual income is less than $160, 000
- you’re a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a protected person
- you’re an Ontario resident
As an eligible college student, you can receive up to:
$800 for university and college degree students
$365 for college diploma and certificate students
for the January semester.
Starting in September 2012, the grant pays:
$1,600 a year for students in a degree program at a college or university
$730 a year for students in a certificate or diploma program at a college
This grant is available this semester (January 2012) and is not automatic. You must apply in order to receive this grant.
Already graduated? Sorry, the grant is not retroactive.
