Student Club of Bangladesh

The Student Club of Bangladesh is constantly complementing student community development with such three key objectives as resource mobilization, mentoring and bridging communication between new and experienced students.

Through development lens, SCB’s mission is integrated with the holistic approaches to expand the scope of proper utilization of existing resources for the student communities. It helps students, especially the new comers, to build linkages with various organizations, communities and mentor. Simultaneously, it maintains liaisons with different networking organizations that they are able to mobilize the current and necessary information easily.

Student Club of Bangladesh aims to create and strengthen friendly relationships among the Bangladeshi student community by the manifestation of cultural events and heritage of Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi people have a very strong cultural background since pre-historic times and celebrate various major festivals – including National Independence Day on March 26, Victory Day on December 16, International Language Day on February 21, Bengali New Year celebration on April 14, Religious festivals like Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Durgapuja and Christmas Day on every year.

We will celebrate festivals, along with Canada Day on July 1, each year to remember and find our source of cultural tradition. In addition, we have a plan to stage drama, and perform musical events and dances of diverse cultural significance. Finally, we have a comprehensive plan to help newcomers irrespective of ethnic origin.

Warm Welcome to Everyone.
